About the Role

Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is looking for a highly motivated IT Recruitment Specialist to join their remote team, supporting the dynamic tech landscape originating from Soweto, Gauteng . This role is focused on sourcing and placing highly skilled software development professionals, including software engineers, developers, programmers, and quality assurance testers. You will leverage your understanding of programming languages, development methodologies, and the tech talent market to identify and engage top candidates. As a fully remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, connecting with clients and candidates virtually to drive recruitment success. Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand their specific needs for software development talent across various technologies. Source, screen, and interview software developers, engineers, and QA testers using advanced recruitment techniques. Utilize a range of sourcing channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and professional networks. Assess candidates' technical skills, experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript), and familiarity with development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate engagement, interview coordination, and offer negotiation. Build and maintain a strong talent pool of software development professionals. Stay current with emerging technologies, software development trends, and market salaries. Maintain accurate candidate data and recruitment progress in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Collaborate effectively with internal recruitment teams and clients.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT recruitment, with a specialization in software development roles. Proven ability to source and attract high-calibre software engineering talent. Solid understanding of various programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies. Excellent interviewing and assessment skills for technical roles. Strong sourcing skills and experience with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and relevant job boards. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
