Job summary

Our client in Montague Gardens, Western Cape, seeks aJunior IT Support Technician to join their team and provide first-line IT support.

You will assist with Microsoft 365 administration, device setup for new staff, and basic network tasks while upholding security policies. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to IT projects and a proactive learning environment, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic engineering and manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT support or helpdesk experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Exposure to Active Directory/Azure AD and IT asset tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licensing, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
• Configure devices for new employees and maintain the IT asset register.
• Support basic network tasks, including Wi‑Fi troubleshooting and site checks.
• Assist with IT projects, upgrades and migrations per security policies.
