Job summary

Exceed HR and Recruitment in Stellenbosch is seeking an IT Desktop Technician to provide first-line IT support for hardware, software and network issues. You will log and resolve helpdesk tickets and assist with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.

Configure devices for new staff, maintain the IT asset register, and support hardware upgrades. The role requires relevant IT certification and at least one year of IT support experience.

Qualifications

• A+ or N+ certification required.
• At least 1 year IT support or helpdesk experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and basic Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Teams/OneDrive).

Responsibilities

• Log, manage and resolve helpdesk tickets.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 user accounts, licensing, email and Teams.
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and other user issues.
• Support Copilot rollout and provide basic user guidance.
• Configure devices for new employees and maintain the IT asset register.
• Assist with hardware upgrades and replacements.
• Troubleshoot basic Wi‑Fi, network and connectivity issues.
• Support IT projects, including office setups, upgrades and migrations.
• Assist with IT security, antivirus checks and system updates.
• Escalate complex technical issues when required.
