Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants in Stellenbosch is seeking an IT Support Consultant to provide first-line helpdesk for hardware, software and network issues. You will log and manage tickets and assist with Microsoft 365 user accounts, licensing, email and Teams.

Then you will troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and other user issues, support Copilot rollout, configure devices for new employees and maintain the IT asset register. A proactive learner with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT certifications such as A+ or N+.
• Minimum 1 year's IT support or helpdesk experience.
• Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11.
• Basic Microsoft 365 knowledge, including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and user-support skills.
• Active Directory / Azure AD exposure advantageous.
• Experience with IT asset management tools advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Structured, process-driven and detail-oriented.
• Reliable, accountable and able to work effectively within an IT support team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Log, manage and resolve helpdesk tickets.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 user accounts, licensing, email and Teams.
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and other common user issues.
• Support Copilot rollout and provide basic user guidance.
• Configure devices for new employees and maintain the IT asset register.
• Assist with hardware upgrades and replacements.
• Troubleshoot basic Wi‑Fi, network and connectivity issues.
• Support IT projects, including office setups, upgrades and migrations.
• Assist with IT security, antivirus checks and system updates.
• Escalate complex technical issues when required.
