Placements24 in Bloemfontein is seeking a motivated Helpdesk Analyst to join our IT team. This on-site role provides first-level support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to keep systems running smoothly.

You'll log requests, follow SLAs, install and configure hardware and software, and assist with user accounts and access. The ideal candidate has prior helpdesk experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an on-site team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to all internal users.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, and network connectivity.
• Log support requests, track status, and ensure timely resolution within established service level agreements.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Assist in managing user accounts and access permissions.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior IT staff with detailed documentation.
