Job summary

Salesworx in Johannesburg is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our Interventional Systems team, covering the Johannesburg region and focusing on Peripheral Intervention and Interventional Cardiology.

The role emphasizes driving sales, building key relationships, achieving targets, and engaging with KOLs and industry stakeholders, with travel and ongoing training. You will report to the Sales Manager and collaborate with Marketing to sharpen product positioning.

Qualifications

• Sales techniques and customer relationship management
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Preferably connected with Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, or Interventional Cardiologists
• Familiarity with the local healthcare market is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• Market and product knowledge: keep updated on trends and product positioning; collaborate with marketing for support
• Sales and profit target achievement: manage sales activities, set targets and pricing, analyze territory challenges
• Implementation of marketing & sales strategy: execute defined sales strategies, identify opportunities, strengthen the sales channel and KOL relationships
• Congresses & industry events: represent the company at local conferences and trade shows
• Training & development: organize and conduct training for internal teams and external customers
• QA/RA: handle customer complaints in line with company protocols
• Reporting & general responsibilities: submit monthly reports and act as company representative
