Job summary

Objective Personnel is seeking a Sales/Internal Sales professional in Gauteng to pursue new business opportunities and service existing customers. The role requires a Matric and a post-matric qualification in Sales or Marketing, along with a valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365 BC.

You will coordinate with various departments to ensure timely quotes, orders, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Matric is required; post-matric in Sales/Marketing preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new business opportunities.
• Receive inquiries from customers by phone, email or visits.
• Serve existing customers and respond to new sales inquiries to support external sales.
• Differentiate products and services to promote sales.
• Coordinate with External Sales and follow up on quotes and orders.
• Keep customers informed about pricing, products and delivery; reply promptly.
• Review outstanding orders and advise customers of delays.
• Coordinate with Factory/Warehouse on production progress and stock availability.
• Investigate customer complaints, propose solutions and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate customer data in Dynamics 365 BC.
• Prepare quotes, establish stock availability and pricing.
• Process Sales Orders and print packing notes / dispatch notes.
• Ensure cross-department communication to execute orders.
• Support Directors in general management.
