Job summary

The Talent Room is seeking an Internal Sales Administrator in South Africa to support the sales team from enquiry through to delivery. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and meticulous administrative capability in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, process orders in the ERP, coordinate with production and dispatch, and maintain accurate customer records.

Qualifications

• Matric is required; relevant qualification in Sales/Business Administration or Customer Service is advantageous.
• Experience in Internal Sales or Sales Administration is advantageous.
• Experience in aluminium, hardware, building materials, manufacturing or construction industry is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in, telephonic and email customers professionally and build strong relationships.
• Prepare quotations accurately and timeously; process customer sales orders; follow up on quotations.
• Capture sales orders in the ERP system and verify pricing/product availability.
• Maintain accurate customer files and records; assist with filing and general office administration.
