Job summary

Objective Personnel in Germiston is seeking a proactive sales support professional to pursue new business opportunities, service existing customers, and support the external sales team.

You will respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, coordinate with the Technical and Quality departments, and ensure accurate customer records in Dynamics 365 BC while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Matric is required; post-matric qualification in Sales or Marketing is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Professional conduct and adherence to company policies and legal requirements are expected.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) for customer data is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pursue opportunities for new business.
• Receive communications from customers via telephone, email, or visits.
• Service existing customers and respond to new sales enquiries to support external sales.
• Promote sales by differentiating company products and services; coordinate with Technical and Quality departments as needed.
• Liaise with External Sales to follow up on quotes and orders.
• Ensure customers are informed about pricing, products, and delivery; respond to correspondence promptly.
• Review outstanding orders and inform customers about delays; coordinate with production and logistics.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and identifying root causes; propose corrective actions.
