Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Representative for their Mossel Bay insurance branch. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries about policies, claims, and account updates.

You’ll work with a supportive team, communicating in English and Afrikaans, processing policy changes, assisting with renewals, and guiding clients through the early stages of claims. Training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the financial or insurance sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding insurance policies, coverage, and billing.
• Assist customers with policy changes, updates, and renewals.
• Guide clients through the initial stages of the claims process, providing necessary information and forms.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the company's CRM system.
• Promote company services and products where appropriate, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
