Job summary

Electrical Wholesalers in Pietermaritzburg is seeking an Internal Sales Representative with 2+ years sales experience in the cable/electrical wholesale sector. The role requires strong communication, CRM proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while understanding technical products.

Responsibilities include lead follow-up, research, reporting trends, building customer relationships, and processing orders and quotations to support external sales.

Qualifications

• Valid Matric certificate is required.
• Minimum two years sales experience in the Cable, Electrical and Wholesale industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
• Understanding of technical and electrical products.
• Strategic planning and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information.
• Identify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management.
• Establish relationships with new- and existing customers.
• Identifying sales opportunities and market trends.
• Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
• Provide an Internal support function to External sales representatives.
• Processing of sales orders and quotations, arranging logistics.
