Job summary

Avi Limited is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager for its Benoni facility. The role focuses on leading HR in a manufacturing setting, managing industrial relations, ensuring OHS compliance, and implementing HR policies to foster a safe, productive workplace.

You will oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and strategic workforce planning, reporting to senior management. A strong leadership, hands-on management style and deep IR knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 8 years of HR experience with at least 4 years in a managerial role in manufacturing/industrial sector.
• Proven track record in industrial relations, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage all HR aspects in the industrial environment, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
• Develop and oversee industrial relations strategies, including union negotiations and dispute management.
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and company policies.
• Implement performance management systems and drive talent development initiatives.
• Advise senior management on HR best practices, labour law compliance, and strategic workforce planning.
