Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Rustenburg to enhance operational efficiency across mining support functions. You will analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvements in a hands-on environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Excel and Minitab. Travel to mine sites within the North West region is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
4+ years of relevant experience in industrial engineering.
Experience in process analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze mining operations, equipment utilization, and workflows to identify productivity gains.
Develop and implement efficiency strategies to reduce cycle times and costs.
Use simulation and modeling tools to test improvements before implementation.
Recommend changes to layouts, equipment, and work methods for safety and output.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making.
Develop performance monitoring systems and KPIs.
Collaborate with site management to implement engineered solutions.
Prepare technical reports and communicate findings and recommendations.
Ensure all solutions comply with safety and environmental regulations.
