Job summary

Clicks Group in Centurion is hiring for a dedicated retail team member to handle customer service, POS operations and in-store merchandising. You will scan merchandise, process payments, enroll clubcard members and promote promotions to boost sales.

The role emphasizes accuracy, brand representation and teamwork in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Desirable background includes customer-facing retail experience, basic maths, stock awareness and the ability to follow procedures while delivering

Qualifications

Desirable: maths and English at Grade 12 level.
Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising.
Basic maths calculations.
Knowledge of customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including clubcard rewards.
To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
To promote Clicks' clubcard and enroll new members to achieve targets.
To inform customers about promotions to boost sales and enhance their experience.
To deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador and maintain a clean store environment.
To support merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to standards.
