Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to efficiently operate the point of sale, handle cash securely and promote clubcard memberships. You will engage with customers, promote promotions, and maintain store standards while delivering excellent service.

Desirable experience in a retail/FMCG environment and strong numeracy will support accuracy in transactions and up-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic maths calculations.
• Retail/FMCG understanding of merchandising and promotions.

Responsibilities

• efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale.
• maintain high accuracy when scanning merchandise and processing payments, including clubcard rewards.
• safely handle cash at all times.
• promote Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet targets.
• inform customers about promotions to drive sales and ensure they feel good and pay less.
• deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador and be visible.
• maintain merchandising and housekeeping to store standards.
• keep knowledge on products, promotions and events updated to provide accurate information.
