Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a motivated in-store assistant to efficiently handle point-of-sale transactions, promote the Clicks clubcard, and deliver excellent customer service. The role focuses on accurate cash handling, promotions awareness, and maintaining store standards.

The ideal candidate has a retail/FMCG background with strong planning and communication skills, ready to contribute to a high-standard customer experience and drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge: Basic maths calculations
• Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles
• Understanding of stock management procedures
• Knowledge of customer service excellence

Responsibilities

• To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased.
• To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
• To promote Clicks clubcard and enroll new clubcard members to meet targets.
• To convey promotions to customers to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
• To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador and providing friendly, professional service.
