Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking a retail associate to efficiently handle point-of-sale operations, promote clubcard membership, and deliver excellent customer service. The role focuses on accurate cash handling, merchandise scanning, and upholding merchandising standards.

Desirable candidates will have a background in FMCG/retail, strong math and English skills, and the ability to engage customers, promote promotions, and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Desirable: experience in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment
• Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level

Responsibilities

• Execute operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain high accuracy when scanning merchandise and handling payments, including clubcard rewards.
• Ensure safe cash handling at all times.
• Promote Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet targets.
• Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and enhance the shopping experience.
• Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, being visible and professional.
• Maintain merchandising and housekeeping per store standards and visual guidelines.
• Support Clicks' vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by living the company values.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date on products, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers at all times.
