Job summary

Meltwater Group in Cape Town is seeking an Implementation Manager for an 8-month maternity cover. You will drive onboarding, adoption and training for clients, collaborating across Client Acquisition, Client Success, CX, Training, Global Support and Product to ensure a flawless experience.

You will establish strong client relationships, lead implementations, configure the platform and create tailored reports to measure marketing and PR impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 2+ years in a client-facing role within software implementation, support or client management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Empathy and ability to understand customer needs, fostering rapid relationship development.
• Business acumen and understanding of diverse departmental and industry requirements.
• Customer-centric mindset and emphasis on robust customer relationships.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills including prioritization, scheduling, and time management.
• Experience crafting complex Boolean queries and data analysis.
• Willingness to embrace a hybrid work schedule; in-office 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a tailored, flawless experience for accounts.
• Initiate and nurture client relationships within the first 30–60 days of subscription.
• Lead and manage client implementations for smooth transitions.
• Establish as trusted advisor across Meltwater's SaaS platforms.
• Assist in configuring the application to meet clients' outcomes.
• Develop and set up customized reports and dashboards for client parameters.
