Placements24 is seeking a Project Manager for a rapidly expanding national retail chain based in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. The role supports store openings, refurbishments, relocations, and performance improvements across locations with a hybrid work model combining in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of project management experience in retail or multi-site operations, strong organizational skills, and proven ability to deliver projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in retail or multi-site operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with deadlines and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, store planning, and project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close projects related to new store openings, refurbishments, and relocations.
• Manage operational improvement projects to enhance in-store processes, supply chain, and customer service.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Marketing, IT, Merchandising) and external vendors (contractors, suppliers) to meet goals.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Maintain project documentation including status reports and financial tracking.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety, and local codes.
