Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major enhancements across our client's retail operations in Benoni, Gauteng. The role requires driving projects that improve store efficiency, customer experience, inventory management, and workflow across multiple locations.

You will work with store managers, regional teams, merchandising, and IT to deliver strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with substantial retail focus.
• Proven track record delivering complex retail projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic project plans for retail operational enhancements.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Lead cross-functional teams with clear communication and alignment on goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement including tech adoption and staff training.
• Oversee implementation of retail systems (POS, inventory software, CRM).
• Manage budgets and确保 projects stay within financial constraints.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate new initiatives smoothly.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain momentum.
• Communicate status and milestones to senior management.
