The role supports store openings, refurbishments, relocations, and performance improvements across locations with a hybrid work model combining in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of project management experience in retail or multi-site operations, strong organizational skills, and proven ability to deliver projects

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding national retail chain, is looking for a driven and organized Project Manager to support their ongoing operational enhancements and store expansion initiatives. This role is based in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, with a hybrid work arrangement, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for managing projects related to store openings, renovations, operational process improvements, and technology implementations across various retail locations. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new retail technologies and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the retail, hospitality, or multi-site operations sector.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with a focus on deadlines and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, store planning, and project lifecycles.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation is advantageous.
• Ability to travel occasionally to project sites as needed.
• Familiarity with the Western Cape retail landscape is a plus.
