Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design with focus on automation and industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Solid understanding of control systems, PLCs, and mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for industrial automation processes, including robotics, conveyors, and custom machinery.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CAD software.
• Perform mechanical calculations and simulations to validate designs (stress analysis, kinematics).
• Integrate mechanical components with electrical and control systems for automated functionalities.
• Specify and select industrial components (motors, actuators, sensors, pneumatics).
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and operations teams for project success.
• Oversee assembly, testing, and commissioning of automated equipment on-site.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing automation systems.
• Document designs, procedures, and maintenance protocols.
