• Familiarity with automation control systems, sensors, and actuators.
• Experience with machine design, tooling, and fixturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for technical discussions with clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.
• Perform detailed kinematic and dynamic analysis of robotic arms and automated machinery.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD).
• Select appropriate materials and components considering performance, durability and cost.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers for integrated systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical reviews for new automation projects.
• Develop and execute testing procedures to validate performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the factory floor and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, including BOMs and design reports.
