Placements24 is seeking a Catering Team Lead to guide a catering team in Rustenburg, ensuring smooth event delivery and service excellence. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate setups and breakdowns, and maintain high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A hybrid schedule may be involved to support on-site events and remote coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role within catering or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the catering team, ensuring adherence to service standards and protocols.
• Coordinate event setups, service execution, and breakdowns, ensuring seamless operations from start to finish.
• Assist in menu planning and preparation, ensuring high-quality food and beverage service.
• Manage inventory of catering supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
• Handle client inquiries and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
