Placements24 is seeking an Event & Conferencing Coordinator for our premier Polokwane venue. This hybrid role blends remote planning with on-site event coordination, liaising with clients and internal teams to deliver outstanding conferences and events.

You will manage multiple projects, ensure detailed execution, and uphold the venue's reputation for exceptional service. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in event planning, coordination, or related hospitality role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for event clients from inquiry to execution.
• Coordinate scheduling, venue logistics, catering and AV needs.
• Develop proposals and timelines meeting client requirements.
• Collaborate with F&B, Banqueting, Operations for seamless delivery.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and process payments.
• Conduct site inspections and advise on improvements.
• Oversee on-site events and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with venue policies and safety rules.
• Collect post-event feedback and help improve service.
• Maintain accurate records of events and client communications.
