Placements24 is sourcing an ambitious Event Catering Sales Executive for the Polokwane area. You will drive new business opportunities, manage client relationships from initial contact through event execution, and collaborate with culinary and operations teams to deliver seamless experiences.

We seek a results-oriented professional with at least 3 years in catering or events sales, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in catering, hospitality, or events.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and proposal writing abilities.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Good understanding of catering services and event management.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel within Polokwane and wider Limpopo area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within corporate and private event sectors.
• Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.

• Attend industry events and networking functions to generate leads and promote services.
• Achieve and exceed annual sales targets and revenue goals.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry innovations.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
