Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager to lead our digital advertising efforts from Pretoria, Gauteng. You will develop and optimize data-driven campaigns across paid channels to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and maximize ROI.

We require a strategic thinker with strong analytics, CRO knowledge, and a proven ability to manage substantial ad budgets. This role offers hybrid work with in-office collaboration in Pretoria.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Performance Marketing Manager or similar role in e-commerce.
• In-depth knowledge of major digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.).
• Expertise in using web analytics tools (Google Analytics) for tracking and analysis.
• Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with data-driven decision making.
• Experience managing substantial ad budgets and ROI measurement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a hybrid Pretoria, Gauteng environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across Google Ads, social media, and affiliate channels.
• Manage and optimize paid campaigns including keyword research, bid management, ad copy, and targeting.
• Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve ROI.
• Budget planning and allocation across platforms to maximize ROAS.
• Conduct A/B tests on creatives, landing pages, and targeting to improve conversions.
• Collaborate with content and design teams to produce compelling ad assets.
• Stay updated on latest performance marketing trends and e-commerce best practices.
• Develop and maintain regular performance reports for stakeholders.
• Identify new growth opportunities and channels for customer acquisition.
• Ensure a smooth customer journey from ad click to conversion.
