Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager to join our client in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role is hybrid, balancing in-office and remote work while building strong relationships with a portfolio of clients.

You will drive onboarding, adoption and retention, collaborating with Sales, Product and Support to demonstrate value and expand partnerships. A proactive, data-driven mindset and excellent communication are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 3–5 years in Customer Success, Account Management or similar client-facing role.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, software platforms and tech trends.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring onboarding, adoption and ongoing engagement.
• Develop and execute success plans aligned with client objectives.
• Monitor client health and address retention risks.
• Act as primary contact, building trust-based relationships.
• Conduct business reviews to demonstrate value and identify expansion.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Support to resolve issues and advocate needs.
• Educate clients on new features and best practices.
• Track success metrics and report client status and satisfaction.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on usage patterns.
