Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large construction developments around George, Western Cape. The role blends on-site supervision with strategic off-site planning in a hybrid work setup, balancing office duties with site visits.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 5–8 years of construction PM experience, with strong knowledge of codes, MS Project and Primavera P6, and a proven track record in delivering on time

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in construction.
• Experience with residential/commercial/industrial projects.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction methods.
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of contract negotiation and administration.
• Ability to balance office duties with on-site site visits.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all phases of construction projects from planning to handover.
• Create detailed project schedules, resource plans and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers.
• Conduct regular site inspections for progress, quality and safety.
• Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain project documentation including contracts and reports.
• Communicate with clients, teams and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
