Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our construction management team in Paarl, Western Cape. The role drives the technical execution of diverse projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with 6+ years' experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 6 years in project engineering or construction management.
• Track record of delivering projects from inception to completion.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all technical aspects of construction projects.
• Develop schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee site operations, resource allocation, and QA.
• Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety-first culture.
• Review and approve plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulators.
