Job summary

Vector Logistics is seeking an HRIS Specialist to manage, maintain and optimize the HRIS, ensuring smooth HR operations. This role also supports upgrades, report generation and close collaboration with HR teams to implement improvements.

You will consolidate remuneration data, maintain data integrity, provide training, and drive process improvements across a multi-temperature logistics network in Southern Africa.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT degree or equivalent preferably with an Information Systems focus.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Time & Attendance systems and procedures.
• Valid Code EB drivers’ licence

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the HRIS platforms.
• Manage day to day liaison between consultants, BCX help desk and end-users. Attend to daily user calls on Remedy and escape to consultants if unresolved. Define & Ensure T&A standards across the group.
• Perform regular system updates, module management, and user access controls.
• Generate and analyse HR data and reports (headcount, turnover, payroll, benefits participation) for HR and leadership teams.
• Support HRIS Manager to develop business requirements for any system development or modifications.
• Consolidate data from all systems impacting remuneration and share management information for reliable decision-making.
• Oversee and assure integrity of remuneration and job grading data across the group.
• Provide ongoing support and training to HR users and managers on HRIS features.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and improvements to enhance usability.
