Placements24 seeks an HR Specialist focused on Organisational Development to join our Kimberley operations in the Northern Cape. You will lead talent management, leadership development, change management and employee engagement initiatives to boost organisational effectiveness.

Working on-site, you will partner with HR leaders to design, implement OD programs, measure impact, and translate insights into practical workforce improvements within the mining sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Organisational Development, Talent Management, or HR consulting.
• Proven ability to design and implement leadership development and change management programs.
• Strong understanding of OD, engagement, and performance management frameworks.

About the Role

Our client, a significant player in the mining and resources sector, is seeking a highly skilled HR Specialist with a focus on Organisational Development to join their team in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role is pivotal in driving initiatives related to talent management, leadership development, change management, and employee engagement. The HR Specialist will work closely with HR and business leaders to design and implement programs that enhance organisational effectiveness and employee capabilities. This is an on-site position requiring full commitment at our Kimberley operational hub, contributing to the sustainable growth of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement organisational development strategies, including talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.


• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and employee buy-in.


• Develop and facilitate employee engagement surveys and action plans.


• Identify skill gaps and recommend training and development solutions.


• Support performance management processes and systems.


• Contribute to the design and implementation of organisational structures and job roles.


• Measure the effectiveness of OD interventions and report on key metrics.


• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and line managers to embed OD practices.


• Stay abreast of best practices in organisational development and talent management.


• Contribute to a positive and performance-driven organisational culture.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Organisational Psychology, Human Resources Management, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Organisational Development, Talent Management, or HR Consulting.


• Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership development programs and change management initiatives.


• Strong understanding of organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance management frameworks.


• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.


• Proficiency in psychometric assessments and OD methodologies.


• Experience in the mining or resources sector is highly advantageous.
