Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an HR Specialist in the Soweto area to lead employee relations and drive compliance across the business.

You will investigate grievances, support line managers, and ensure policies are applied consistently, all while staying current on SA labour legislation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in HR with focus on employee relations and compliance.
• Solid understanding of South African labour law (Labour Relations Act, BCEA).
• Experience in investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High integrity, objectivity, and handling of confidential information.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
