Job summary

Samancor is seeking a HR Practitioner for HRD Mining in Rustenburg to deliver technical training and development aligned with SETA requirements and business needs. The role focuses on ensuring training matierials availability, coordinating training flow, and maintaining learner records.

The position emphasizes risk-aware SHEQ practices, customer interaction, and ongoing assessment to confirm competency across training modules, within the mining context of Rustenburg.

Qualifications

• Provide technical training and development services to ensure implementation and maintenance of training interventions meeting SETA requirements.
• Coordinate and plan the flow of training to optimize resources.
• Manage learner training records and assessment processes.
• Ensure availability of training material as per the Skills Training Matrix.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
• Apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.).
• Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox).
• Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status.
• Interact with customers and familiarise yourself with operational concerns and any inherent peculiarities (e.g. HR issues).
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Initiate and implement Skills Training Matrix.
• Coordinate and plan the flow of training accordingly to optimize resources.
• Manage and monitor the assessment process to determine competency in line with various training modules.
• Monitor and ensure the maintenance of equipment utilized in the training process according to the technical specifications and business unit maintenance standards.
• Ensure employee competence and legal compliance.

Job description

To provide a technical training and development service to ensure the implementation and maintenance of training interventions according to legal and organisational needs and it meets SETA requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY:

• Implement feedback sessions with Supervisors to monitor progress
