Qualifications

Must have Grade 12 or NQF4 equivalent.
Must hold Mine Overseer / Trade Certificate.
Must have HR/HRD Diploma or Degree.
Postgraduate HR/HRD qualification preferred.
Travel required.

Responsibilities

Aligns HRD with the strategic objectives and business plan imperatives.
Maintains HRD certification and SETA & QCTO accreditation.
Ensures compliance with MHSA and relevant mining legislation.
Delivers quality, effective training and maintains accreditation and certification.
Ensures business plan imperatives are carried out as per plan and MPRDA targets.
Analyses training effectiveness and updates processes as needed.
Identifies initiatives to eliminate waste and reduce costs, supporting change management.
Advises management on improvement initiatives and supports stakeholder relations.
Promotes safety, health, environment and risk management in operations.
