Job summary

EXCELLENCE IN PGM's is seeking an experienced trainer to conduct effective training and meet the objectives of the initiative at our mining site in South Africa. The role focuses on developing human resources through targeted training programs and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and HRD legislation.

The successful candidate will possess Grade 12/NQF4, a trade qualification or blasting/metallurgy certification, assessor and moderation certificates, and an ETD qualification or

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 Equivalent is essential
• Trade Qualification / Blasting Certification /Metallurgy is essential
• Assessor And Moderation Certificates is essential
• Relevant ETD qualification or relevant Diploma /Degree is essential
• Minimum 3 Years working experience in Human Resources Development practices is essential
• Previous training and supervisory experience is essential
• Previous experience in outcome – based training is essential

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted training and development using given methodologies
• Promotes a learning culture
• Ensure that training facilities and resources are optimally utilised, and safety guarded
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Implements initiatives aimed at eliminating waste, improving productivity and reducing operations cost within scope and assist with the implementation thereof to contribute to the achievement of operational objectives
• Adhere to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non - compliance
• Participates in regular safety meetings and makes recommendations to ensure overall safety
• Preforms regular inspections in area of work and report hazards to ensure environment is safely and hazards free and recommends remedial action where necessary.
