Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Mining Training Coordinator to facilitate Level 1-2 mining interventions and ensure alignment with approved learning material for competency development. This role supports QCTO, SETA and QMS accreditation to ensure ongoing compliance across operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining stakeholder relations, preparing progress reports, and driving cost-saving initiatives while upholding safety and governance standards in a complex mining environment.

Qualifications

• Must have mining industry experience and be Medically fit for role.
• Must have at least 2 years mining experience in a specialized role.
• Certifications such as Blasting Certificate or Assessor may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Level 1-2 mining interventions to improve competency.
• Support accreditation with QCTO, SETA and QMS ISO 9001:2015.
• Ensure compliance with legal, governance and ethics guidelines.
• Produce learners progress reports daily and weekly.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and stakeholder relations across the organisation.
• Sourcing, contracting and negotiating with service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical
• Facilitate the provision of level 1- 2 mining interventions to ensure Quality Assurance in line with approved learning material to the improve competency levels within the organisation.
• Participate in QCTO, SETA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation requirements to ensure compliance.
• Ensure adherence and compliance with legal requirements to support organisation's code of conduct, corporate governance and ethics guidelines.
• Compile Technical Training Learners progress Reports (daily, weekly)
• Assist with cost saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
• Stakeholder Relations
• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally.
• Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
• Sourcing, contracting and negotiating with service providers. Building a values-based organisational culture
• Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment. ESG Compliance
