Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to oversee HR operational functions at our Paarl facilities. You will lead payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and onboarding, driving efficiency and service excellence across the HR operations team.

This leadership role requires a Master's in HRM and at least 8 years of progressive HR ops experience, with 4 in a management capacity. You will ensure data accuracy, vendor governance, and strategic alignment with business goals.

About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the food and beverage industry, is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all HR operational functions at their facilities in Paarl, Western Cape . This strategic role will focus on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of HR service delivery, ensuring seamless processes in areas such as payroll, benefits administration, HR information systems (HRIS), and employee onboarding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management within HR, with a proven track record of implementing process improvements and leveraging technology. You will lead a team of HR professionals dedicated to providing exceptional support to the organization. This is a key leadership position focused on ensuring the operational backbone of the HR department is robust and aligned with business goals. We are looking for a leader who can drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and data analytics tools.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the manufacturing or food and beverage sector is advantageous, based in the Paarl, Western Cape area.
