Job summary

Clicks Group is looking to recruit an HR Officer III to work within our HR Store operations department. The role will be based at the Clicks Regional Office in Cape Town and report into the Divisional HR Manager.

The primary focus is implementing and maintaining HR initiatives at a corporate level to support divisional strategy, with emphasis on recruitment, training coordination, IR management, and accurate HR administration.

Qualifications

• Essential: 3-year tertiary qualification (BA, B Comm HR), B Soc Sc, B. Ed, B. Bus Science.
• Generalist HR experience in a retail environment is essential.
• Experience in IR, recruitment, payroll and HR administration is essential.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with attracting, motivating and retaining core operational staff through recruitment and selection.
• Coordinate and implement the annual training and development plan with the HR Manager.
• Manage IR issues in line with company policies and legislative requirements.
• Coordinate communications with management, employees and the union.
• Maintain HR records accurately for compliance.
• Generate HR statistics and reports for quality decision making.
• Support people-management processes and BU transformation targets.
• Address HR-related queries to ensure superior customer service.
