Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking an HR Officer II for Store Operations (Coastal East) to implement and maintain HR initiatives at a regional level, based at the Clicks Regional Office (Pinetown).

Key duties include recruitment, learning and development coordination, IR issues management, stakeholder communications, HR administration and reporting, with a focus on driving performance and transformation within the BU.

Qualifications

• Essential: Generalist HR experience in a Retail environment.
• Essential: Experience in IR, recruitment, payroll and HR administration.
• Desirable: Experience of working in a geographically spread-out environment.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with attraction, motivation and retention of core operational talent through recruitment and selection.
• Coordinate and implement the annual training and development plan in conjunction with the HRM.
• Assist with the management of IR issues in line with policies and legislation.
• Coordinate communication with management, employees and the union.
• Maintain HR administration and record keeping with the HRA to ensure compliance.
• Compile, generate and analyse HR statistics and reports for the division.
• Support people management processes to foster a performance culture.
• Support BU transformation roadmap implementation to meet targets.
• Ensure superior customer service through resolving HR-related queries.
• Assist the HRM with project implementation and initiatives.
