Job summary

MultiSEARCH Recruitment is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy in Kuruman, Northern Cape. The role covers Talent Management, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Remuneration, Employee Relations, Wellness and Payroll management within the reserve’s operations.

You will contribute to policy formulation and governance, ensuring compliant, ethical HR practices across diverse teams in a hospitality/conservation setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience with good understanding of South African labour laws and best practices.
• Experience in Hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process to ensure the timely acquisition of resources.
• Ensure onboarding and induction processes are welcoming and seamless.
• Maintain recruitment databases with accurate recordkeeping.
• Evaluate service from recruitment agencies on an annual basis.
• Champion local hiring and development initiatives in line with the reserve's community upliftment goals.
• Professionalize the offboarding process, conduct exit interviews and track trends over time.
• Monitor and record training needs to compile the Learning and Development plan.
• Ensure employees compile a personal development plan in partnership with line management.
• Maintain relationship with the Department of Employment and Labour (DOEL) to ensure the timely submission of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and the Annual Training Report (ATR).
• Drive a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all departments.
• Execute the bi-annual performance review processes and record all review data.
• Follow up on poor performance and track progress over time.
• Follow up on excellent performance and ensure employee recognition.
• Support the annual remuneration processes and oversee monthly payroll processing.
• Foster a values-driven, respectful, and inclusive work environment across diverse teams.
• Facilitate the resolution of disputes in partnership with line management.
• Identify wellness requirements and contribute to long term solutions.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with South African labour laws and relevant hospitality/conservation standards.
• Produce and manage HR data, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and contract management.
