Taking full ownership of the human resources function, the successful candidate will lead end-to-end recruitment with an emphasis on local community talent, oversee onboarding and employee development, and serve as the go-to point of contact for all people-related matters. Day-to-day responsibilities span performance management and coaching cycles, labour law compliance, disciplinary and grievance processes, staff wellness and engagement initiatives, and the maintenance of accurate HR records and monthly reporting. Working closely with department heads and senior leadership, this role plays a central part in building and sustaining a workplace culture that reflects the lodge's values and keeps team morale high through all seasons.
