NACOSA seeks an HR Intern to join our SEF Project team in Cape Town. The role provides administrative and operational support to the HR team, offering exposure to a broad range of HR functions in a professional environment.

You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, records management, HR reporting, policy implementation, and employee relations under guidance, while upholding confidentiality and NACOSA values.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR team.
• Assisting with recruitment and selection processes, including coordination and documentation.
• Supporting employee onboarding and induction activities.
• Maintaining and updating employee records, HR systems and related documentation.
• Assisting with HR reporting, data capturing, filing and record-keeping.
• Supporting the implementation of HR policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Assisting HR team in ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour legislation.
• Providing administrative support in employee relations under HR guidance.
• Assisting with HR projects and general HR-related activities.
• Providing support with employee queries and escalating matters appropriately.
• Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring secure handling of employee information.
