Key Responsibilities

• Support recruitment efforts, including job posting, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding new hires.
• Administer employee benefits programs and assist with enrollment and inquiries.
• Manage HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with record-keeping standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters, including company policies and benefits.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting and feedback mechanisms.
• Participate in employee relations activities and assist in conflict resolution.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports as needed.
• Organize and coordinate employee engagement activities and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist role.
• Solid understanding of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with South African labor laws and employment practices.
• Experience with HRIS systems and HR software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote work setting.
• A proactive and positive attitude towards problem-solving and supporting employees.
