Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd is seeking an experienced People Support Practitioner to join our client on a maternity cover contract in Kuilsrivier, Western Cape. The role is a broad HR Generalist position with emphasis on Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, performance management and HR reporting.

You will support line managers across recruitment, onboarding, wellness, compliance and CCMA matters in a fast-paced contact centre.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in an HR Generalist role.
• Proven Industrial Relations experience within a Contact Centre/BPO environment.
• Strong technical HR knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation.
• Experience with CCMA representation.

Responsibilities

• Support Talent Acquisition during recruitment and selection.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation of new staff.
• Provide ER/IR guidance to employees and line managers.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain Sage 300 People data.
• Assist with compliance and policy audits.
• Support wellness, engagement, and EWP/EAP initiatives.
