Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an organized HR Coordinator to support operations in George. The role focuses on administrative HR tasks, documentation, and coordinating employee activities to ensure a smooth employee experience.

You will handle recruitment coordination, records management, payroll and leave administration, onboarding and offboarding, and HR events, working closely with the HR team in a dynamic South African setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in an HR support role.
• Familiarity with South African employment regulations is preferred.
• Competency in HR software and standard office applications.
• Strong administrative and multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the recruitment process from job posting to candidate communication and interview scheduling.
• Maintain accurate employee records, both physical and digital.
• Assist in payroll, benefits, and leave administration processes.
• Support onboarding and offboarding for new and departing employees.
• Organize HR-related events, training sessions, and team-building activities.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
