Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of progressive experience in a broad range of HR functions.
• Solid understanding of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) for data management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on empathy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy George office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and legal requirements.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate compensation and benefits administration.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including performance management and conflict resolution.
• Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance with labor legislation and company standards.
• Organize and facilitate employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
