Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in HR compliance or a related role with a focus on employment law.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA).
• Experience in HR audits and developing compliance programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and ability to train stakeholders.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with South African labour laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices, including recruitment, compensation, employee records, and disciplinary procedures.
• Investigate and address any compliance issues or employee grievances related to HR policies.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of employee records and HR documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to employees and management on HR compliance matters.
• Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
• Assist in the preparation for and response to internal and external compliance audits.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for the workforce.
• Manage the process for employee contracts and statutory filings.
• Contribute to the development of a strong compliance culture within the organization.
