Placements24 in Centurion, Gauteng seeks an HR Compliance Officer to ensure HR practices align with South African labor laws and industry standards. You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, conduct audits, and advise management on risk mitigation.

The role requires a deep understanding of employment legislation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to uphold integrity and confidentiality in a hybrid work environment in Centurion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in HR compliance, labor law, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation and compliance frameworks.
• Proven experience in HR audits and developing compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to explain complex requirements.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular internal audits of HR processes and documentation to identify compliance gaps and risks.
• Investigate and address employee grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair application of policies.
• Manage the process for responding to regulatory inquiries and inspections.
• Advise management on necessary policy adjustments due to changes in labor laws.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees and managers.
• Oversee the maintenance of employee records and data privacy compliance.
• Manage employment equity reporting and BBBEE compliance.
• Liaise with legal counsel and external advisors on compliance matters.
• Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
