Placements24 is assisting a well-established hotel in Upington, Northern Cape, to hire a dedicated Hotel Duty Manager. The role involves overseeing daily operations across departments, maintaining service standards, and leading staff during shifts to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will act as the on-site senior representative, manage incidents, and coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance. This position offers leadership growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in hotels.
• Strong leadership and guest-relations skills.
• Knowledge of front office, housekeeping and F&B operations.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergencies.
• Proficient with hotel management software and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations during assigned shifts.
• Be the on-site senior representative for guests and staff.
• Motivate and manage front-line team across departments.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and service standards.
• Prepare shift reports and brief senior management.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance.
• Assist in staff training and development.
